What a dashboard can read from

    It reads what you already produce — orders, batches, shifts — without migrating anything first.

    If it lives in Excel today, the dashboard reads it anyway. Replacing it is not the price of starting.

Questions

Is the data in these examples real?
No. Simulated Workshop is a fictional shop and its numbers are invented to show how a dashboard is read, not information about any client.
What if my sector is none of these four?
These are reference examples. The dashboard is built on your data and your sector, whether it is represented here or not.
Apple only, like the apps?
Apps, Apple only. Dashboards are a different job and they ship where they will be read — on the Mac of whoever decides, and in the browser for everyone else. It is the same dashboard in both places, and on this page you can see it by switching between the two views.
Where does the data come from, and do we have to change software?
No. The dashboard reads what you already use: your ERP, your spreadsheets, your till system or your own database. Nobody changes tools just to be able to look at their numbers.
