What you decide with this
The month in four numbers
94.2% occupancy, €132.00 average rate, €124.34 revenue per room and 3.9 nights average stay. Revenue per room is not a loose figure: it is occupancy multiplied by rate, which is why it rises when both do.
Occupancy month by month against target
The target is 75%, with a 5-point band. From January to May it does not even reach the bottom of the band: January is the worst month so far this year at 38.4%, and May stops at 49.8%. June comes in at 72.6% and July and August overshoot, 88.4 and 94.2%. This is where you decide where the campaign goes, which is January and not August.
Where guests come from
3,252 nights across the four closed quarters. The rest of Spain brings 1,508, Aragón 1,264 and France 480, 14.8% of the total. The summer quarter is worth almost double the winter one: 1,155 nights against 604. This is where you decide which language the next campaign is written in, and for which quarter.
Which nights are left, and how they arrive
August Saturdays run at 100% and January Tuesdays at 22%: the two ends of the calendar. Nine single nights are still unsold in the next 30 days, above the threshold of 6. And of the €61,590 that came in by channel in August, €28,880 is direct — 46.9% — and €32,710 pays portal commission. This is where you decide which night moves on price and how much you can spend on your own site.
Where this dashboard reads from
- The booking system, for nights, rate and channel.
- The portals you already publish on, with each one's commission.
- The phone booking book, exactly as you keep it today.
For you if
- You drop the rate in August, which fills on its own, and leave it alone in January.
- You do not know what a portal booking really costs you against a direct one.
- You see the gaps in the calendar when there is no time left to sell them.
